Principal's Corner

Dear Singleterry Elementary School Community,

It is an honor to introduce myself as the new principal of Singleterry Elementary and to join this extraordinary school community and campus. I hope that this note finds you enjoying the rejuvenating days of summer and that you and your children are looking forward to beginning a wonderful school year together in August after the much-needed summer break. I can assure you that I share in this school community’s commitment to caring for your children each and every day while providing them with a world-class learning environment to ensure success and personal growth.

At this time, I would also like to introduce our new assistant principals, Mrs. Leslie Castro and Mr. Christian Garcia. 

I firmly believe that every child can excel no matter their background and that the partnership between home and school builds confidence in students to use their powers to shape their future and the future of our community and our nation. It truly takes a village to raise a child. With my goal of continuing the tradition of excellence here at Singleterry Elementary, I am committed to always exploring new ways to meet the needs of all students and to more effectively communicate with parents and community members to ensure student growth and success.

To our students, I cannot wait to meet you all! I hope that you are enjoying your summer break playing and reading tons of books with your family and friends and that you are excited for this coming school year. It is going to be a fun year learning together!

In closing, please know that my door is always open to you. I heartily welcome your conversation and positive input throughout this year. Let us always keep our students the primary focus of our work. I look forward to celebrating our collective successes during the 2024-2025 school year.

Estimada comunidad de la escuela Singleterry Elementary,

Es un honor presentarme como la nueva directora de la escuela Singleterry Elementary y unirme a esta extraordinaria comunidad escolar y escuela. Espero que esta nota los encuentre disfrutando de los días rejuvenecedores del verano y que ustedes y sus hijos estén ansiosos por comenzar juntos un maravilloso año escolar en agosto después de las tan necesarias vacaciones de verano. Puedo asegurarles que comparto el compromiso de esta comunidad escolar de cuidar a sus hijos todos los días y al mismo tiempo brindarles un entorno de aprendizaje de primer nivel para garantizar el éxito y el crecimiento personal.

En este momento, también me gustaría presentarles a nuestra nueva subdirectora y subdirector, la Sra. Leslie Castro y el Sr. Christian Garcia. 

Creo firmemente que todos los niños pueden sobresalir sin importar su origen y que la asociación entre el hogar y la escuela genera confianza en los estudiantes para usar sus poderes para moldear su futuro y el futuro de nuestra comunidad y nuestra nación. Realmente se necesita un pueblo para criar un niño. Con mi objetivo de continuar la tradición de excelencia aquí en Singleterry Elementary, estoy comprometida a explorar siempre nuevas formas de satisfacer las necesidades de todos los estudiantes y comunicarme de manera más efectiva con los padres y miembros de la comunidad para garantizar el crecimiento y el éxito de los estudiantes.

Para nuestros estudiantes, ¡no puedo esperar a conocerlos a todos! Espero que estén disfrutando de sus vacaciones de verano jugando y leyendo toneladas de libros con su familia y amigos y que estén emocionados por el próximo año escolar. ¡Será un año divertido aprendiendo juntos!

Para terminar, sepa que mi puerta siempre está abierta para usted. Agradezco de todo corazón su conversación y sus aportes positivos a lo largo de este año. Mantengamos siempre a nuestros estudiantes como el foco principal de nuestro trabajo. Espero celebrar nuestros éxitos colectivos durante el año escolar 2024-2025.
